How we doing?!

I hear Bridgestone are upgrading the fab BT-021 Sports/Touring tyre for the new BT-023. Anyone got the new rubber yet or looked at it? Any thoughts??

Clarkey.

They are upgrading and I have a pair on my FJR1300. I put almost 1,000 miles on the tires.

My thoughts: The BT023 is superior to the BT021'a in one important category. The BT023 is designed more as a sport tire than as a touring.

The tire is somewhat designed for heavier sport and sport touring bikes. I have used various tires on my Honda 599 and liked the BT021's about as well as anything.
A tie for 1st place was the Metzler Sportec M3 and the Bridgestone BT016's.
Since the BT021 is a 3rd place finisher, I put the BT021's on the 04 FJR1300. I liked them but not as well as on the 599.

I took a long weekend trip to North Carolina and rode on a very good section of Hwy28 out of Highlands, NC. I have the picture of chicken strips. This was riding 2-Up and the tires were exceptional in all aspects. The strips are about 1/4 narrow. Just to give an ideal that I was using the tires.

Bridgestone is best in my opinion, but currently i am using standard tires of my Bonneville SE. it is a great bike, riding Bonneville SE is a great fun, here is the big picture; Triumph is famous for its classic bikes. Triumph Bonneville SE is one of the modern classic bikes from Triumph. Triumph calls it ‘Extra Pure Bonneville’. It is up to date with the latest 21st century engineering and technology. It is named so due to the Bonneville Salt Flats in the state of Utah, USA. Motorcycle helmets (http://www.leatherup.com/l/Motorcycle-Helmets/12.html) should always be used to ride it.
The SE takes your biking experience beyond the standard Bonneville. Matching tachometer and speedometer and a traditional expensive looking chrome delivers awesome looks to bike. Triumph also offers optional two-tone color that provides even more charming and individual looks. To add to it, joe rocket jackets (http://www.leatherup.com/l/Joe-Rocket/34.html) makes the riding even more comfortable.
Bike offers a great ride experience on both city and open road. It has 865cc air cooled, parallel twin and lightweight alloy wheels. Bike also features short front and rear mudguards that are well suited to the looks of bike. Bell helmets (http://www.leatherup.com/c/Bell-Helmets/2/132.html) make it even better.
